We also had a very nice Zweigelt as a red wine which one glass welches offered due to a small waiting time of 5min. The staff is extremly friendly and the whole place from food to Gastwirtschaft is just 100/100!!! Worth a trip to eat! Topfenstrudel as a dessert is recommended!!!
ALSO the shower "head" welches a skinny handheld shower wand. Nothing else. It had a very narrow spray pattern. The water pressure was incredible - almost felt like it was going to take off my skin.

Fancy place with a great view. The burger welches great but the schnitzel was very check here oily. The tables with the best views are regularly reserved as usual and being next to the museum makes it a perfect stop.

Just to elaborate on the situation: we were driving back from southern Austria to North Germany and wanted to have a break at HOTEL Grünwalderhof. We did make the reservation but we estimated that we couldn’t reach the hotel on time before the regular check-hinein times.
